Misty is a 9yr old Pug, who was picked up as a stray and did her 7 days in the pound.

Misty came to us very overweight, desperately in need of a dental and with a significant lump on her chest. She has lost weight since she came to us in the middle of August and had a dental. Thankfully, she only needed a couple of teeth removing.

Lastly, the lump needed to be removed. This was done a couple of weeks ago and she’s healed nicely. We just had to wait for results on the lump. Unfortunately, it has come back as a mast cell cancer category 2. But, the vet was very positive about the operation and believes she potentially has another 6 years in her!

Due to the nature of the lump we are aware that any potential new owners will be concerned about the cancer returning. With that in mind ADIN would offer to cover any future costs in relation to lump removal and testing – subject to a vet approval.

Misty is a fantastic little character who would make a fantastic companion

. She is dog and child friendly.
